The Vitamix drive socket is a crucial component that connects the motor to the blade assembly in Vitamix commercial blenders and also serves as a protective feature for the motor. The Vitamix Drive Socket Kit is a replacement kit designed to be used with Advance series and Vita-Prep blenders. It is made of durable materials. including a stainless steel insert. and can be easily installed with an Allen wrench provided in the kit. The Drive Socket Kit protects the motor in case the blade assembly is blocked from rotating. Please note that this kit is not compatible with Vitamix XL and is intended for commercial use only.
